Quite underwhelming from the beginning until then end of our visit. Heard a violin playing on the patio so we decided to come check it out. Loved the vibe and decided to try a few things. Our server was overwhelmed and we received little to no service, the busser did more for us than Brian(server). Adam(manager) asked us to move after we go our appetizer, because a large party came in and was more guests than expected, ok. He offered to get us a round of drinks for our inconvenience, but never came back to check on us the rest of the night. Brain took the large party by himself and this was the last time he spent any time with us. I expressed my disappointment with Adam(manager) and he thanked me for the feedback and I expressed I would rather tell him than do an online review, but I left feeling not valued nor appreciated at all I felt compelled to say something to Adam after feeling that Brian was talking negative about us to other staff?! I expressed all this with Adam and even though at first I felt he listened, Adam did nothing to make me feel valued ans an guest other than getting us a round of wine. There are too many other choices in waterside and feel this is our last time at Osteria. After talking to Adam, Brian came back to the table to deliver the check and apologized for the bad service. When I explained how our experience was he replied that he has been doing this over 40 years and was not supported?! Don't care and there was no genuine efforts to recover our bad experience. The atmosphere was amazing and all in all we enjoyed our time together, just won't be back… Thank you for your time. kelso

Amazing! Reminds me of the pizza in Italy I ate this summer!!! Crust Melts in your mouth! Also, the espresso martinis are to die for!

First time visiting osteria 500 and I can that I will definitely come back again. The spaghetti osteria was very delicious and had the right amount of sauce. The portion was perfect. The raspberry mojito was very refreshing as well.

The mortadella panini was delicious! The bread was perfectly toasted, and the mortadella was rich, flavorful, and made every bite satisfying. Such a simple sandwich done so well. Definitely something I'd order again when I'm back at Osteria 500!

I can't say enough wonderful things about how fresh, authentic and delicious this dinner was. Having an Italian background, finding an Italian restaurant to love was not easy to find, until I came to Osteria 500. All the ingredients complimented each other so well! The appetizers, dinner, drinks, desserts AND service were exceptional! When we left we couldn't believe we haven't been before and can't wait to go back!
